Nothing In Life Gets Better Until We Change

It’s called a comfort zone because it’s just that…it’s comfortable. And who doesn’t like feeling comfortable? It’s so nice and familiar and cozy… we know if we do “x” we will get “y”…it’s predictable…it feels safe….  But nothing exciting is ever going to happen in the comfort zone – because in the comfort zone the only thing we will ever get is what we’ve always got!

Nothing in life gets better until we change. If we want things to be different, we ourselves have to BE different. We have to venture beyond the comfortable and try doing things a different way because that’s the only way we are going to get a different result.

If you’re miserable in your job try acting different at work. If you’re unhappy in your relationship try treating your partner differently. If you are bored with your life try doing something new. Nothing in life gets better until we change, and changing means a willingness to do things differently than we’ve done in the past.

If we want things to get better than we’ve got to change ourselves.  Don’t wait on your circumstances, CHANGE YOU!

And remember, excitement is waiting for you just outside that comfort zone 🙂

True, but there’s also a thin line with doing what is right and feeling used or taken advantage of. Therefore, examining and deciding to choose what to change about oneself may sometimes include avoidance or removing yourself from the equation in the pursuit of happiness.

I use this quote with my patients often “Change nothing, nothing changes”. I don’t remember where I got it but I love it and use it all the time.

This is amazing this is huge so much said in such less words. You stay like this forever and always be available to motivate people no matter where you are, what you do.
