Today I #GiveThanks for my Parents

Today is Day #4 of the seven day #GiveThanks challenge. You can read all about the challenge in yesterday’s blog post I shared, but the gist of it is that each day for seven days you post pictures and a blurb about something you are thankful for on social media. I’ve been posting them on my Facebook page but since some of you may not be linked to me on Facebook I thought I’d also share my Day #4 post here. It reads:

Today I #givethanks for my Mother and Father who decided to get married and have ten children, who chose to stay married for these last 58+ years, and who now have so many children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren that I’ve lost count…but they could tell you the exact count, with the names and birthdays…and ever year for Christmas they hang up stockings for every single one of them. My parents are my teachers, my exemplars, my heroes, my shoulders I can cry on, my loudest cheerleaders, and my dearest and most treasured friends. I am so blessed to have them as my parents.

I hope all of you reading this will join in on the seven day #givethanks challenge with me – it will change your life!!! 🙂
