Day Two Of Fall And It Feels FABULOUS!

Yesterday was the official start to FALL!  I personally like to say Autumn rather than Fall because it just sounds so much prettier to say…and pretty is exactly how I’d describe Autumn.  There is very little that compares in beauty to seeing a full array of fall colored leaves on the mountainside – it’s truly spectacular. And for the first time this year I was able to drive home from work with the top down on my Bentley Convertible (up until now its been too hot outside to want the top down) with the perfectly temperatured air blowing around me as the radio was blasting my favorite songs.  It felt FABULOUS!

There are so many fabulous things to love about Fall.  The crisp air, fresh apple cider, candy corn, fall television lineups, pumpkin flavored everything, caramel apples, a warm bowl of soup, hot chocolate with loads of whipped cream, fall jackets and sweaters, sitting around the firepit in the backyard, vanilla steamed milk (again with whipped cream…always whipped cream), Halloween decorations, reconnecting with friends after summer break…there is just so much to love about this season!

Even though its not the start of a new calendar year, Autumn always feels like its the start of something new because school starts again and everyone starts back to work after having been gone over Summer. And with the start of a new season comes the opportunity to let it begin with a fresh slate, letting go of past grievances or disappointments.

“Autumn shows us how beautiful it is to let things go.”  -unknown

Each of us can choose to let any negativity from the past go and begin this Autumn season with a beautifully blank canvas that’s just waiting to get filled with all kinds of FABULOUS!
