How will you choose to live your one remarkable story?

We have only one life to live. That is why it is so important to decide how you will choose to live your one remarkable story! Do you want to try to accomplish incredible things, or do you want to sit on the sidelines too afraid of failure to ever take the risk of even entering the race?

If we want our lives to be a grand adventure then we have to be willing to take a few risks! We have to put aside our fears of failure and instead focus on the attempt itself. We are never going to find out how amazing our lives might be unless and until we put ourselves out there to find out.

“Life without a little risk is no an adventure darling, it’s a darn shame!”

Living a life without trying will never be living a full life. There is no adventure in sitting on the sidelines. And while you think it is safer because you belief are avoiding the agony of defeat, the reality is that you are holding yourself back from all the victories waiting for you along the way. And when your life comes to an end you will look back and recognize that you haven’t really lived it at all.

Consider this story:

Two seeds lay side by side in the fertile spring soil.

The first said, “I want to grow! I want to send my roots deep into the soil beneath me, and thrust my sprouts through the earth’s crust above me…I want to unfurl my tender buds like banners to announce the arrival of spring…I want to feel the warmth of the sun on my face and the bless of the morning dew on my petals!”

And she grew.

The second seed said, “I am afraid. If I send my roots into the ground below, I don’t know what I will encounter in the dark. If I push my way through the hard soil above me I may damage my delicate sprouts…what if I let my buds open and a snail tries to eat them? And if I were to open my blossoms, a small child may pull me from the ground. No, it is much better for me to wait until it is safe.”

And so she waited.

A yard hen scratching around in the early spring ground for food found the waiting seed and promptly ate it.

Those of us who refuse to risk and grow get swallowed up by the life.

Don’t allow your life to be swallowed up. Live your one remarkable story to the fullest!

May today be the start of a grand adventure in your life…

I truly love your sight, your drive and most of all your story. I hope that I have the chance to learn something from you! I’m starting a humanitarian based Internet company by the name of Pet-A-Tree.

Love this! One way to have a grand adventure is to help others. I’m not sure that’s what works for the entrepreneur, but for people like me who will never be that, we can always put ourselves out there to be doing for others and make their life better.
