Tomorrow is Christmas Eve and I’m so excited to have my children and grandchildren with me and my husband this year! There is no greater joy in my life then being with my family…

I’m also excited that we’ll have many of my extended family coming over Christmas Eve as well to celebrate with our family traditions of singing songs together and reading from the book of Luke in the Bible about the birth of Jesus Christ. And this year we plan to also watch this incredible new video Christmas Eve that depicts the Nativity story as it recounts the events of Jesus Christ’s birth from the Bible. I invite each of you to watch this beautiful video with your own families on Christmas Eve. It’s a beautiful way to remember how sacred Christmas truly is.

I’m so grateful for the events that took place that night so many years ago. I’m grateful to Mary and Joseph for the faith they had and the sacrifices they were willing to make to bring baby Jesus into this world. I’m grateful to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for his willingness to come into this world and atone for all of our sins, giving us the opportunity, if we will do our part, to live again someday with our Heavenly Father and Mother and be together forever as family. I can’t think of no greater gift than the one we were all given that very first Christmas… #LightTheWorld
