Happy New Year! 2015 Is Going To Be Epic!!

Happy New Year everyone! The start of a brand new year – it is so exciting!  2015!!!  Don’t get me wrong, 2014 was a major year for my family that was full of big time milestones. We finished building our new house and our new houseboat, we moved into our new home, my daughter Ashley graduated High School, my son Dalton came home after serving a two year mission, my daughter started college, my son went back to college, my daughter received her mission call to serve an 18 month mission, and my husband and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary. It was an amazing year of accomplishment for our family indeed and it was a good year overall.

But there is something incredibly exciting about the start of a brand new year. It’s a time to sit down and re-evaluate your goals and set new resolutions of what you want to accomplish with your year ahead and I love doing that!  I also love that heading into this New Year all of us have the chance to make a fresh start with life.  All of us have the chance to put the negative things from our past behind us, remembering only enough from the past to help us avoid making the same mistakes again. We can forgive and let go. And then we can focus our attention on the bright future that lies ahead – just think of the amazing possibilities for this upcoming year that exist for you!

Perhaps it will bring you a new job, a new love, a new friend, a new adventure, a new romance, a new home, a new school year, a new trip, a new achievement….the options are limitless.

As you head into this weekend I suggest that you take the time to sit down and either create a goal poster or update your current one. If you haven’t read about my goal poster here is a link to a past article I have written about it that explain it. IT IS MAGIC!!!!

The Magic of the Goal Poster

I am excited to sit down with my husband this weekend and create our first goal poster as a couple. I have always done my own and he and I thought it would be fun to do one together so we will work on that this weekend and I can’t wait to see what we put on it.

Enjoy the last few days of play this weekend before we all hit the ground running again. And running is exactly what I need to start doing because I ate a ridiculous amount of food over the holidays and goal number one will be to lose the holiday weight fast! Argghhhh….least favorite goal ever yet the one goal that seems to top the list going into every New Year sadly 🙁

Have a great weekend everyone!  And remember – 2015 is going to be EPIC!
