Daily Words of Wisdom

“Do the things you used to talk about doing but ever did. Know when to leg go and when to hold on tight. Stop rushing. Don’t be intimidated to say it like it is. Stop apologizing all the time. Learn to say no, so your yes has some oomph. Spend time with the friends who lift you up, and cut loose the ones who bring you down. Stop giving your power away. Be more concerned with being interested than being interesting. Be old enough to appreciate your freedom, and young enough to enjoy it. Finally know who you are.”  – Kristin Armstrong

Don’t you love hearing words of wisdom! I do! I love hearing motivational quotes and stories and poems that all remind me to be a better person and to be happy and to accomplish great things.

We all need pick me ups to help inspire us. We can be doing great one day but then the next day we are back in a slump again and the only way to avoid that is to keep a constant flow of happy thoughts that stem from inspirational words of wisdom that help keep our heads focused on the positive in life.

Some might think, “I read something motivational yesterday so why do I need something again today?” Well, we took a shower yesterday but if we want to stay clean we probably ought to take another shower again today. And although we brushed our teeth yesterday, our mouth will feel much fresher if we brush again today 🙂 .  As important as showering and brushing our teeth daily, so is filling our heads with positive words of wisdoms. To have it be effective we have to incorporate it as part of our daily habit. Put a new positive quote on your mirror each day. Read a positive passage from a spiritual book each day. Listen to a motivational talk in your car as you drive to work each day. Have a nightly ritual to end your day with a positive thought of some sort. Then make it a morning ritual to start the day off with an inspirational quote that you write on your mirror before you start brushing your teeth or taking your shower….

It’s a daily need. As much as food or water is, so is daily words of wisdom.

Have an incredible day!
