There is Something Inside You that is Greater than Any Obstacle

“Believe in yourself and all that you are. Know that there is something inside you that is greater than any obstacle.”  – Christian Larson

I cannot tell you how much I love that quote. It is especially helpful at times when you are facing a current obstacle in your life because those are the times we seem to forget that this is true.

When things go wrong our first response is to blame ourselves, beat up on ourselves, put ourselves down, do all the “if I had only done this” or “if I had only done that”.

Once we are done blaming ourselves we tend to move on to thinking of all the reasons the obstacle we are facing is insurmountable, unfixable, impossible to overcome.

Is it any wonder that so many people in the world are struggling with feelings of inadequacy and depression?  Who wouldn’t be depressed with that kind of thinking?!

The next time you are facing an obstacle or dealing with a difficult situation just take this quote out and write it on your bathroom mirror, the dashboard of your car, and on the edge of your computer monitor. Force yourself to see it several times a day by hanging it everywhere you spend time. By reading it over and over each day you will find that your thinking starts to change from blame and impossibilities to remembering that you ARE capable of overcoming the obstacles you need to in your life. God gave you every talent and gift you would need to fulfill your life purpose. And He doesn’t make mistakes or forget to include the details. Everything you need is inside of you. Everything. So believe in that.

Have an amazing day overcoming obstacles in your way!
